(a) The defect that she is suffering from is hypermetropia
(b) P= 1/f
     4.5 = 1/f
     f = 1/4.5 = 0.22 meter
     focal length of les is 22cm and nature of the corrective lens is convex lens
(c) ans of this is in the figure given below please reffer to it

Hypermetropia

Explanation:

(a) Given that, noopur needs a lens of power 4.5 D for correction of her vision. The power of the lens that is used by her has positive power. It shows that she has to used a convex lens. It means she is suffering from hypermetropia or long sightednesss.

(b) Power, P = 4.5 D

Focal length,

f=\dfrac{1}{P}\\\\f=\dfrac{1}{4.5}\\\\f=0.222\ m\\\\f=22.2\ cm

Rays of light that pass through a convex lens converge.

(c) Figure (A) shows the defect in the eye.

(d) Figure (B) shows the correction of the defect using convex lens.
