The north western part of India gets rainfall in the down time in India. This is mainly due to the disturbance or the occurrence of a storm in the Mediterranean sea, which will bring sudden rainfall to the northern parts in India. This monsoon is not an expected one.

The north-western regions which have rainfall due to this western disturbances are Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Chhattisgarh etc.,
