The Church or The Catholic Church was outraged by the art and ideas of Renaissance. During the period of Renaissance, the scholars began to question the useless religious dogmas and rituals of Catholic Church. It declined the power and influence the Church used to enjoy.

As Renaissance has a scientific aspect of studies and experimentation, its origins are even controversy. Sienese and Florentina artists were creating using different abroad influences. Consequently, there was an interchange between both cities, but it's not unanimous that it was the beginning of the Renaissance
