A candle seems to lose it weight on burning. Explain this fact

because the wax melts and evaporates or goes down when it gets hot

because when the candle burns we think that it is getting smaller so the weight will alo be decreased but this is not right becoz it's evaporate and gets back so it is wrong to say it loses its weight.
