Not writing the symbols of the physical states and evolution of heat or precipitate in a chemical reaction make us loose marks in exam?!{ class 10 board }

you might loose for not writing the physical states( like solid or gas) but you definitely loose marks if you don't mention the heat symbols(like for thermal decomposition reaction you don't put delta symbol you will obviously loose marks).

for the physical states it is usually recommended to mention them since you don't who is checking your paper, you even don't know what the examiner is expecting so it is better to write everything.
