The mean of 5 nos. is 14. Four of them are 9,12,14,16. Find the fifth number.

we know that a + b + c + d + e /5
let other no is a
now, 14= a + 12+9+14+16/5
14*5 = 16+a
70-16=a
a= 54
Hence fifth number is 54.
