Today smart cities have progressed on a large scale in global scale . Many modern equipment are being invented and are also in use . These equipment work on only when they are supplied energy from a source in the form of heat or electricity or in any other form .
So as we are constantly using these energy without any limit the need to save energy gains acceleration with a great rate . And if we don’t take steps towards saving this energy we would finally be available with no source of energy and the city which which was considered to be smart will land up with no progress and thus it wont hold good for mankind .
So being a citizens of a smart city we need to act smartly and the smart response for this crisis is energy conservation . Hence it is said energy conservation is a smart step towards smart cities
