Role of Women in French Society :

Women were considered passive citizens, they were not involved in revolution earlier.

But, as the revolution was at its high time, women began to raise voice for their rights.

Then, they were given specific rights such as education, take divorce,equal wages etc . Previously, they used to perform household works only.

Women in French Society weren't given right to vote, it took so long for them to get this in 1946.
