1) Charlie is an ordinary man, but one day by mistake he discovers an extraordinary place.
2) He calls it 'The Third Level’ at Grand Central Station.
3) He describes it as the place of 1894.
4) He finds that world where people move around with attires of 1894, the currency notes used where that of the era, the newspaper used was the one used in 1894, and so on.
5) When after coming back from that world, he explains the same to his psychiatrist friend Sam and to Charlie’s wife.
6) They wouldn’t believe him. His friend Sam thinks that Charlie is in the stage of some bad psyche.
7) At the end of the story, Charlie receives a letter from Sam stating he found the third level too.
