RMS Titanic () was a British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in the early morning hours of 15 April 1912, after it collided with an iceberg during its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City. There were an estimated 2,224 passengers and crew aboard the ship, and more than 1,500 died, making it one of the deadliest commercial peacetime maritime disasters in modern history. The RMS Titanic was the largest ship afloat at the time it entered service and was the second of three Olympic-class ocean liners operated by the White Star Line. The Titanic was built by the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast. Thomas Andrews, her architect, died in the disaster.

Notes about Titanic Ship:

Titanic, also known as RMS Titanic was a passenger liner and was the largest ship ever built. It was built in Belfast and its chief architect was Thomas Andrews. It carried the wealthiest people who were planning to settle in the United States. It was designed in such a way so that it can provide comfort and luxury to the First-class accommodators. About 2224 passengers traveled in Titanic.

Unfortunately on April 14, 1912, the ship hit a massive iceberg, and it paved way for the water to enter five watertight compartments. Many women and children were rescued with the help of limited lifeboats but the men who remained on board had to suffer its wrath. Around 1500 people died as Titanic broke apart in the middle and sinked in the North Atlantic Ocean. Edward Smith, the captain of the ship died along with his crew.
