Rashmi was a girl. She ate some plums. She went to her grandpa's house. She had the seeds of plums in her palm. She asked her grandpa, "Grandpa, what's the use of it?" Her grandpa asked her to sow the seed in the garden. She sowed it. After few years, the plum tree had grown up. She asked her grandpa that,"just a small seed, it came into a big tree,it's a luck, if I threw the seeds away when I got it,what's the use?" Her grandpa replied "Nothing is lucky if you put it away"...

An example to illustrate the given quote, is as follows -
- Suppose, there was a boy who got an old pen as a birthday gift, from his grandfather. The grandfather had told him, that this pen is extremely lucky and that's why he is giving it to his own grandson.
- The boy was sceptical about the lucky factor of this pen. He kept that pen in the side pouch of his school bag and after a few days he completely forgot about that pen.
- One day, the boy was preparing to go to the school. There was an exam on that day. Unfortunately he forgot to take his pencil box with him and at the examination hall he realised that there was no pen with him.
- The teacher in the guard, was extremely strict and didn't allowed any borrowing during the exam. The boy was extremely upset.
- Then he remembered that he has that old pen in the side pouch of his bag. He quickly took out that pen and completed the exam with that pen.
- If the boy had thrown away that pen on the day when he received it as the gift, then he wouldn't be able to give that exam.
- So, the moral is, if we utilise and respect something (even an inanimate object) then it will surely produce positive outcomes for us. Although added hardwork is always necessary.
