Answer:

This line is from Walt Whitman’s famous poem ‘I Think I Could Turn And Live With Animals’ The poet is turning away from living with human beings, who according to the poet who sweat and whine, weep for their sins, most of the time are dissatisfied, and are obsessed with mania of owning things.

On the contrary, animals are wonderful as they are so calm, satisfied, and not greedy at all. The poet feels animals are better than human beings. So, he wants to live with them.

Answer:

The writer talks about a juncture and a definite point of direction in his/ her life. it also talks about turning her life in the opposite direction from what it was earlier, so that he decides to leave the society of humans and then go and live freely in the domain of animals.  Individual choice and preference plays an important role here when the writer has a noble realization that he/ she will find a good company among animals.
