Now a day, communication networks are composed of many interconnected diverse resources and network management systems have critical role in it. A complete and ideal network management system manages communication network and all its components from end-to-end. So, management systems should be simple, intuitive, consistent and should also ensure ease of deployment, dynamicity and security. Addressing the security of these communication networks, whether our current standards of network management systems are covering security issues on thorough grounds or not? Justify your answer with solid arguments in either case.

This is a challenging issue to take a solid stance on, since there are so many factors to consider. Given the speed at which technology advances, as well as the skill of those that would compromise the security of any given IT security, it is hard to keep up with or stay ahead of either. I feel that, in most cases, due diligence is given to the security of network management systems. However, it seems to continue to a cycle of catching up to those with greater motivations to compromise that security.
