I go walking back from school. Walking home does not take as much time as getting across the main road does. There are too many vehicles plying around that area and we often have a traffic jam right in front of our school, but the route I take is clear of messy traffic. Once out of school, I cross the road and turn right into a narrow path. The path leads to the parking near the Terrace Garden, before quietly disappearing behind the quaint chapel. Next I take the lane running between the chapel and the post office. A few hundred meters later, the chapel disappears from view. This is the most favourite part of the walk. A glistening stream flows beside me, on the left while on the right are paddy fields, guarded by tall trees. Within two minutes I reach the village headman’s house. The third house from his, is my house, where my journey ends.
