Nowdays crime rate against women are increasing day by day.

What are the possible reasons behind this ? You may include the following points while writing:-

(ii) Modern society
(iii) Lack in Government plans/security.

Also write your views that how this problem can be tackled.

$\large \dag$ Introduction :-

The crime rates against women are increasing day by day. Now a days women think twice before stepping out of their homes, especially during night time. This is the bitter reality of our country.

In India women are given the stature of goddess but they are being exploited which is terrible even to hear.

$\large \dag$ Possible Reasons Behind this :-

$\large\blue \bigstar \: \: \purple{\rm Social \: Media : }$

One of the main reasons behind increasing crime rates against women is social media because on social media as victimisation on social media is a common thing but many cases did not come into notice as many victim do not want to share the crime in the fear of being trolled on Social media which indirectly support criminals.

$\large\blue \bigstar \: \: \purple{\rm Modern \: Society : }$

One more reason can be there which is modern society, in the modern time Violence against women and girls is rooted in gender-based discrimination which is totally a useless thing. It's not anyone's fault that to which gender they belong. But in the modern society mail are are dominating over women which is not hidden truth but a truth which is practised to hide.

Another reason behind increasing crime rate against women may be lack of government plans. we can't say that government do not make any plans for the issue but these plans are not sufficient to stop these crimes. Many rules are not followed because there are no strict actions against them as Womens are given equal rights as men but many people are not following these mainly in rural areas. So, government should make plans with a proper strictness.

Even helpline numbers are provided by government for helping the women but not many women even know that what is women helpline number which is really a bad news.

Violence against women and girls is rooted in gender-based discrimination so we can spread awareness regarding this to stop gender based discrimination.

As the future of our country is our young generation so we can spread awareness to the young generation in in schools and other places.

Government can make rules more strict so criminals think twice before doing any crime which may lead to decrease these crime rates.

Government can provide proper educating system for people of backward classes.

➻Right from the time of the birth of a girl,she becomes the major victim of the so-called 'Crime' commited by men.It often refers to sexual harrasment,acid attacks,gender inequality, female foeticide, domestic violence, etc.

➻Many adolescent girls becomes the major target of sexual abuse and violence and many women are tormented by domestic violence.

➻We people of the modern society are developing day by day physically but not educationally as the crime rate against women is crossing the limits. Women now-a-days are mostly working.In the work palces they often suffer from exploitation,sexual abuse by colleagues,lack of promotions due to gender inequality etc.

➻Government had already made several implements like extending helplines , funding shelters to ensure safe accommodation etc.But still Governments need to implement national plans and make budget commitments to invest in actions to prevent violence against women.

➻People of backward classes are partially educated.This becomes the vital cause of female foeticide in such areas.In order to prevent this, people must be completely educated .
