nth terms of the AP point 13, 8, 3, - 2 find the nth term

a= 12

d= - 5

Tn = a+(n-1)d

= 13 +(n-1)(-5)

= 13 - 5n +5

= 18 - 5n

a= 13 and d= -5 n=4
tn = a+(n-1)d = 13+(4-1)-5= -2
hence answer is -2.
