Because of the use of Nuclear Energy the Green House effect has reduced. Nuclear Energy has the lowest impact on the environment as it does not produce carbon dioxide & methane which are largely responsible for the Green House effect. There is no adverse effect of it on water and land. though some Green House gases are released due to fuel transportation and extraction of energy from uranium. Nuclear Energy is more powerful and efficient than other alternative energy resourses. It is also useful in producing electricity. Nuclear Energy can be produced in nuclear power plants even in rough weather conditions. the cost of uranium which is used to generate electricity is quite low. Also the average life of nuclear reactor is 4-60 yrs depending upon its usage so though its set up cost is high, its running cost is low. So, due to all the above reasons Nuclear Energy is the hope of future.
