Let the initial velocity of first object be 2x ,then initial velocity of another object will be 3x

:)for first object

u=2x

a=-g

v=0. (at maximum height velocity will be 0)

0^2=4x^2-2×g×h

h=4x^2/2g

h=2x^2/g.......I)

:) for second object

u=3x

a=-g

v=0(max. height will have 0velocity)

0=9x^2-2gH

H=9x^2/2g.......ii)

now,divide equation i) from ii)

h/H=2/9

hence their ratio =2:9

hence their ratio =2:9{hope it helps}

Answer:

1st object

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

s= height

v=0

u=2x

a=g

0 = 4x^2 + 2gh

0 = 4x^2 -2×10×h

20h = 4x^2

h = x^2/5

2nd object

v=0

u=3x

a=g

0 = 9x^2 + 2gh

0 = 9x^2 - 2×10×h

20h = 9x^2

h = 9x^2÷20

h = 2x^2

ratio near about = 1:10
