Number 1 to 100 are written on separate slips(one number in each slip) ,kept in a box and mixed well. One slip is chosen from the box unnoticed. What is probability of getting a perfect square.

There are total 10 perfect squares in between 1-100. So probality of it is

10 \times 100 \div 100 =10\%

Probablity of getting a perfect sq is 10/100=1/10


Because the sq between 1-100 are
1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81,100

So probablity=no of favourable outcome
