Solution :-

Let us assume that, number of boys in class are 6x and number of girls are 5x.

Since it is given that, there are 4 more boys than girls .

→ 6x - 5x = 4

→ x = 4 .

Therefore,

Total strength of class is = Total boys + Total girls = 6x + 5x = 11x = 11 * 4 = 44 (Ans.)

Hence, There are 44 students in class.

AnswEr :

⠀⠀⠀⠀The total strength of class is 44.

 \\

\sf \: Here\: \begin{cases} \sf \: Let \: the \: no. \: of \: boys = 6x\\  \sf \: Let \: the \: no. \: of \: girls = 5x \end{cases}

  \\

According to the question,

: \implies\sf \:  \:  \: No.  \: of \:  boys = No. \: of \:  girls + 4 \\  \\  \\

: \implies\sf \:  \:  \: 6x = 5x + 4 \\  \\  \\

: \implies\sf \:  \:  \: 6x - 5x = 4 \\  \\  \\

: \implies\sf \:  \:  \:   \large\red {x = 4}  \\  \\

Therefore,

  • No. of Boys = 6x = 6 × 4 = 24

  • No. of Girls = 5x = 5 × 4 = 20

\cdot \: { \underline{ \underline{ \sf{ \purple{Total  \: Students :}}}}}

: \implies\sf \:  \:  \: No.  \: of  \: Boys + No. \:  of \:  Girls  \\  \\  \\

: \implies\sf \:  \:  \: 24 + 20 \\  \\  \\

: \implies\sf \:  \:  \:  \large \orange{44}

Therefore, the total strength of class is 44 .
