The no of electrons present in C(CN)₄ molecule is 58.

- The no of electrons present in 1 carbon atom = 6

- The no of electrons present in 1 nitrogen atom = 7

- The no of electrons present in 1 cyanide molecule = No of electrons in 1 carbon atom + No of electrons in 1 nitrogen atom

⇒The no of electrons present in 1 cyanide molecule = 6 +7 = 13

- Total no of electrons in C(CN)₄ molecule = No of electrons in 1 carbon atom + No of electrons in 4 cyanide molecules

C(CN)₄ = 6 + 4 × 13

C(CN)₄ = 6 + 52 = 58 electrons.
