between 58 and 80.
We know that they are in Arithmetic
Progression.
first term = a = 60
last term = l = 78
Common difference = d = a2 - a 1
d = 62 - 60 = 2
let the number of terms = n
We know that,
a + ( n - 1 ) d = l
60 + ( n - 1 ) 2 = 78
Divide each term with 2 we get,
30 + ( n - 1 ) = 39
29 + n = 39
n = 39 - 29
n = 10
Therefore,
There are 10 terms between 58 and 80.
