When we talk about human zygote.

specifically...during fertilisation the nuclear membrane of the two nuclei I.e. male and female disappears

..and there are free chromosomes (unwinding) in the cytoplasm....

actual mixing of the genetic material of the two occurs when they undergo first division two form two blastomeres...

And the genetic material of the two seggregate independently... Into two nuclei of blastomeres....

Hence actually the process is so fast actually there is no defined nucleus in the zygote.....
