Legume plants are mostly pulses.

These plants have root nodules where which Rhizobium resides.

This Rhizobium is a natural nitrogen fixer and it is responsible for conversion of nitrogen present in soil to be useful for plants.

Legumes and Rhizobia perform symbiotic relationship as Rhizobium get along with legumes and help it directly to fulfill a need of nitrogen.
