\mathfrak{Answer:}

= 2205.

\mathfrak{Step-by-Step\:Explanation:}

\underline{\bold{Given\:in\:the\:Question:}}

  • No. of students enrolled in a school = 2000.
  • Rate of increase in no. of students every year = 5%.
  • Time = 2 years.

\bold{Solution:}

Number of students after 2 years :

\underline{\bold{Method\:no.\:1;}}\\\\\\\tt{=2000\times(100+5)\%\times(100+5)\%}\\\\\\\tt{=2000\times\dfrac{105}{100}\times\dfrac{105}{100}}\\\\\\\tt{=21\times 105}\\\\\\\tt{=2205.}\\\\\\\underline{\bold{Method\:no.2;}}\\\\\\\tt{Let\:A=no.\:of\:students\:\:after\:2\:years.}\\\\\\\tt{P=Present\:no.\:of\:students=2000.}\\\\\\\tt{r=rate=5\%}\\\\\\\tt{n=times=2\:years.}\\\\\\\implies\tt{A=P\left(1+\dfrac{r}{100}\right)^n}\\\\\\\implies\tt{A=2000\left(1+\dfrac{5}{100}\right)^2}

\implies\tt{A=2000\times\dfrac{105}{100}\times\dfrac{105}{100}}\\\\\\\implies\tt{A=21\times 105}\\\\\\\implies\tt{A=2205.}\\\\\\\\\boxed{\boxed{\bold{No.\:of\;students\;after\;2\;years=2205.}}}

Solution :

Given -

Number of students enrolled in a school = 2,000

Rate of Increase = 5%

Time = 2 years.

To find :-

Number of students after 2 years with enrolled increase of 5% :-

Let the Number of students enrolled be 'X'

Then ,

X = 2000 ( 1 + R/100)n

X = 2000 ( 1+ 5/100)²

X = 2000 × 105/100 × 105/100

X = 22050000/10000

X = 2205

Hence ,

The number of students = 2205
