so numerator x-4
fraction =(x-4)/x
ATQ (x-4+1 ) / ( x+1) = 1/2
2 ( x-3 ) = x+1
2x -6 = x +1
2x - x = 1+6
x = 7 = denominator
numerator = x -4 = 7 - 4 = 3
so fraction = 3 / 7
