Step-by-step explanation:

Let the numerator be x and denominator be y

then

x = y+5

and

4+x/y+4= 6/5

Putting x = y+5 in second condition we get

4+5+y/y+4= 6/5

=> 9+y/y+4= 6/5

=> (9+y)5= 6(y+4)

=> 45+5y= 6y+24

=> 5y-6y= 24-45

=> -y= -21

=>y= 21

then x = 21+5= 26

Required fraction = 26

21

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the denominator be 'x'

so the numerator = x+5

\frac{(x+5)}{x}+\frac{4}{4} = \frac{6}{5}\\\\\frac{(x+5)}{x} = \frac{6}{5} - \frac{4}{4}\\\\LCM = 12\\\\\frac{(x+5)}{x} = \frac{30}{20} - \frac{20}{20}\\\\\frac{(x+5)}{x} = \frac{30 - 20}{20}\\\\\frac{(x+5)}{x} = \frac{10}{20}\\20(x+5) = 10(x)\\20x + 100 = 10x\\100 = 10x - 20x\\100 = -10x\\\frac{100}{10} = -x\\10 = -x\\-10 = x\\

numerator = (x+5)

                  = ( -10+5)

                  =  -5

denominator = -10
