let take that
denominator as 'X' then
numerator ' X-7'

after increasing ,

denominator x+9
numerator x-7+2 = x-5

x-5/x+9 = x-7/x

( cross multiplication)

x(x-5) =( x-7)(x+9)

x²-5x = x(x+9)-7(x+9)

x² -5x = x²+9x-7x -63

x²-5x = x²+2x - 63

x²-x²-5x-2x+63 = 0

-7x +63 = 0

-7x = -63

x = -63/-7

x = 9

by putting value of x in

denominator = x = 9
numerator = x-7 = 9-7 = 2

so the number is " 2/9 "

this is your answer
