Answer:

Ph Value of hcl = 4

That means its an acidic solution so the concentration of h+ ions or h2co3+ ions will be more

Molarity is defined for total absolute ions concentration Here ph value tends to 4

kph = log x 10^-4

so Molarity of solution is acidic in nature

Answer:  0.0001

Explanation:

We know that, pH of a solution is given by negative log of H⁺ ions or active mass of H⁺ ([H⁺])  in the solution. [H⁺] also denotes Molarity of solution.

Now,

pH = - log[H⁺]

4 = - log[H⁺]

4 × 1 = - log[H⁺]

4 × log[10] = - log[H⁺]

log[10⁴] = -log[H⁺]

-log[10⁴] = log[H⁺]

log[10⁻⁴] = log[H⁺]

Removing log from both sides,

10⁻⁴ = [H⁺]

[H⁺] = 0.0001 mol/ltr.

Note:- Here the base of log is 10 and log(10) = 1
