h=ut+1/2gt^2
h=1/2gt^2
100=1/2×10×t^2
t=√20
=2√5
v=u+gt
v=0+10×2√5
=20√5

vivekmaster1abp9g2k3: how
pri2029: since height is given so we can find the time... and as body is dropped so initial velocity is zero
vivekmaster1abp9g2k3: solve it according to 9th class
pri2029: s=ut+1/2at^2. As it is a free fall a=g, u=0. distance travelled (h)= 0×t + 1/2 gt^2. 100=1/2×10×t^2. t^2=20. t=√20 =2√5. velocity when it will reach the ground can be calculated as v=u+at. v=0+gt=10×2√5=20√5
