OBJECTIVE: Students will be able to plot the points and their mirror images in the cartesian plane. MATERIAL REQUIRED: Graph paper, Geometry box. PROCEDURE: 1. Plot the following points on the cartesian plane : Points A(3, 0), B(-2.9, 1), C(2.3, 2), D(-1, 0.9), E(0, -3), F(1.5, -2.6), G(2, 2.3) and H(-2.7, -1.3). 2. Plot the mirror images of points A, B, C and D wrt y-axis. 3. Plot the mirror images of points E, F, G and H wrt x-axis. 4. Join all the points and their mirror images with free hand to obtain a closed curve.
