The Youth Red Cross is the most important part of the mother organization, the Indian red cross. It is a group movement that has been organized at the initial stages for the students who are between the age of 18 to 25 years old in colleges.
The main objectives of the Red Crosss Society are
(1) to inculcate in the youth of our country,
(2) to raise an awareness of their health and others,
(3) to understand the civic responsibilities and therefore acting in accordance to the humanitarian concern in order to fulfill the same,
(4) to enable the growth of spirit of service and sense of duty with dedication and devotion in the minds of the youth.
