Observation on electroplating
- The electroplating is the process where the electric current is passed through the electrolyte.
- The anode and cathode end is maintained. The system is connected to power supply or battery.
- The electrolyte is the process which allows to dissolve the metal cations. This allows to form the thin coating metal piece on electrode.
- The direct current is passed to the anode where the metal is oxidised which finally dissolves in solution.
- The cathode is the portion, where the current flows out.
