I observed the rupees 10 coins and noted the following things:
- Inscription on the coin: Rs. 10 coins were introduced in 2005 and since then it is the second-highest denomination.
- The metal used: The outer ring is aluminum-bronze whereas the inner ring is copper-nickel. It is a bimetallic coin.
- Year of the coin: The coin was introduced first in 2005 and since then it has changed three times with 2019 being the latest.
- Symbol of the coin: "SATYAMEV JAYATE"
- Language: The rs. 10 coin has letterings both in Hindi and English. Below SATYAMEV JAYATE, on the left, it is written भारत whereas India is written on the right.
- Shape: The coin is a circle in shape. The designs might have changed over the period but the shape remained the same.
- Picture: At the center of the coin is the lion capital and SATYAMEV JAYATE is written below it.
- Denomination of the coin: Indian rupees 10
