1. Cathode - hydrogen
Anode- oxygen
2. It's bcs water which is H2O contains 2 atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen.
3.Electrolysis of water

jsusurya016: where does salt gone?
Amy111111: For this reaction , we don't use plain water
Amy111111: instead we use salt water
Amy111111: because water doesn't conduct electricity while salt conducts
Amy111111: that's y we add salt to water ....just to make water to decompose to hydrogen and oxygen
jsusurya016: ok thanks for the clarification
sirat2: your answer is correct
sirat2: send me correct answer
sirat2: Awesome
Amy111111: ur welcome:)
