i) Name of the cycle is carbon cycle.

ii)it plays an important role in balancing the energy and traps the long-wave radiations from the sun. Therefore, it acts like a blanket over the planet. If the carbon cycle is disturbed it will end in serious consequences like climatic changes and heating . All known life on earth is predicted on carbon. Hence, the carbon cycle alongside the organic process and oxygen cycle plays an important role with in the existence of life on earth.

iii) Main process involved in this cycle are :-

a) Carbon present in the atmosphere is absorbed by plants for photosynthesis.

b)These plants are than consumed by animals and gets bio accumulated in thier bodies.

c) When the plants and animals die and the decomposed carbon are released back into the atmosphere.

d) Some of the carbon that's not released back to the atmosphere becomes fossil fuels.

d) These fossil fuels are than used by man made activities which pumps more carbon back to the atmosphere.
