Answers:

*A - The cells containing starch grains are called endodermis & also it is called as starch sheath.

*B - Epidermis shows presence of stomata & trichomes.

*C - Pericycle is present as semi-lunar patches of sclerenchyma above pholem.

*D - Pith is the central part of stem which is made up of parenchymatous cells which may or may not have intercellular spaces.
