3-it affects water degradation as oil spill pollutes the water and causes harm to animals living in water and many animals die due to these activities.
4-it affects ecosystem of waterbody very badly as seagulls and other birds living in it get oil stick to their body which causes irritation to them and they die soon . the fish swallow this oil and die or if they get eaten by other fish or human being they cause diseases to them.
