Dear student,

● Answers -
- Roots of pea, bean & fenugreek plants are all leguminous plants.
- They have root nodules which are this enlarged multicellular structures on the roots.
- Rhizobia (a symbiotic bacteria) resides in this nodules.
- This Rhizobia carry out the function of nitrogen fixation in atmosphere.
- Nitrogen gas is converted into ammonia during this process of nitrogen fixation.
