5 and -2 are zeroes of given polynomial p(x) = x^4-17x^2+36x-20
therefore
(x-5) and (x+2) are factors of p(x)
(x-5)(x+2) = (x^2-3x-10) is factor of p(x)
divide p(x) with (x^2-3x-10) you get (x^2-3x+2)
then find the factors of (x^2-3x+2) = x^2 -x-2x+2
= x(x-1)-2(x-1)
=(x-1)(x-2)
p(x) =(x-5)(x+2)(x-1)(x-2)
other two zeroes are
x-1 =0 or x-2=0
x=1 or x=2
therefore
(x-5) and (x+2) are factors of p(x)
(x-5)(x+2) = (x^2-3x-10) is factor of p(x)
divide p(x) with (x^2-3x-10) you get (x^2-3x+2)
then find the factors of (x^2-3x+2) = x^2 -x-2x+2
= x(x-1)-2(x-1)
=(x-1)(x-2)
p(x) =(x-5)(x+2)(x-1)(x-2)
other two zeroes are
x-1 =0 or x-2=0
x=1 or x=2
