Answer:

Nitrogen oxide (No2) does not form octet rule. Although the Oxygen atom has an octet of electrons, the Nitrogen atom has only seven electrons in its valence shell. NO is a stable compound, it is very chemically reactive. The compound's valence electrons contain odd number of shell in the valence shell.
