leukemia is the odd one out.

  • leukemia is the cancer of body-forming tissues. leukemia cells often tend to behave as abnormal white blood cells. leukemia is caused by a genetic mutation. leukemia starts developing in the bone marrow of a human's body and then transfers to the other parts of the body.
  • Addison's disease occurs when our body is unable to produce certain hormones. it is an uncommon disease. it is also called an adrenal deficiency. it is a chronic condition in which the adrenal glands are unable to produce hormones like cortisol and aldosterone.
  • Cushing's syndrome is the noncancerous growth of cells in pituitary glands. this condition occurs when the body is subjected to a high level of cortisol for a long period.
  • Acromegaly is a hormonal disorder. it is developed during adulthood when the pituitary gland produces too many hormones.

Leukemia is an odd one answer because it is caused by the genetic mutation of cells whereas the rest of the diseases are caused by hormonal imbalance in the human body.
