Probability will be \frac{15}{91}

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given that odds are 8 to 5 against a person he will alive more thirty years

So the probability that the man will be alive in next 30 years  = \frac{5}{13}

The probability that the man will be dead in next 30 years =  \frac{8}{13}

Now for second man there is 4 to against that he will alive next thirty years

So the probability that the other man will be alive in next 30 years = \frac{3}{7}

And The probability that the man will be dead in next 30 years =  \frac{4}{7}

the probability that both men are alive for 30 next years =  \frac{5}{13}\times \frac{3}{7}=\frac{15}{91}
