Of a group of 27 students ,18 belong to the french club and 15 belong to the spanish club. If each student belongs to at least one club, how many students belong to both clubs?

if add n(f) and n(s) it will be 33 students out of 27 students hence 6 students belong to both the clubs

n(U) = n(f) + n(s) -n(f and s)

27 =18+15-x

27=33-x

x=33-27

x=6
