The answer is Plymouth, England.

The Pilgrims set off from Plymouth, England. They were among the 102 passengers on the Mayflower that began sailing in September 1620. The Pilgrims were a group of separatists from various religious backgrounds. All of them wanted to settle down in a new place where they could freely practise their faith.
