first we understand what is π ???

π is defined by many theory ,
but simply π is the ratio of circumference of circle to diameter of that circle .
π = circumference/diameter

now, this is not easy to find out length of circumstances , becoz this is not straight . this is curve ( e.g circle)

mathematican gives a symbol which gives knowledge for finding length of circumstances e.g π

another way we know that π denotes the angle e.g 180°
π = 180° degree
but we assume circle is 360°
then, in radian angle = 2π

we also know ,
∅ = l/r
where l is length of curve part ,
r is the raius of that curve part
if angle 2π then, l = circumference circle
2π = circumference /r
circumference = 2πr ----(1)

according to above explanation , we understand π is only assumption for solving problems .

if you see deeply , we said that we can't find out adject value of circumference .
becoz we don't know adject value of π .
this is irrational , non repeating .

now , mathematician had challenge to find that value which is a irrational as well as non - repeating . many years after they succeed to finding that value ,
e.g 22/7 this is a rational number ,
but of we divide this then, number is an irrational and but repeating .
e.g 22/7 = 3.142857............

now, mathematician assume that
π = 22/7 but this is not actually only assumption , and by this problem solve easily . so, we use π = 22/7
