Perimeter of square = 4 × side

Area of square = side²

××××××××××××××××××××

Given that both are equal,

4 \times side =  {side}^{2}

Then,

4 =  \frac{ {side}^{2} }{side} \\  \\ 4 = side

Area of square = side²

Here,

Area of square =
 {4}^{2}

=> 16 unit²

I hope this will help you

Heya !!!

As we know that,

Perimeter or square = 4 × Side

And,

Area of square = (Side)²

According to question,

★ Perimeter of square = Area of square

4 × Side = (Side)²

Side²/Side = 4

Side = 4

Therefore,

Area of square = (Side)² = (4)²

=> 16 square unit.
