okay random doubt, if petroleum is non renewable then why is it still used in all frickin cars, isint there a alternative fuel?​

Because it's combustion is complete which means total energy consumption but yeah nowadays people are using CNG kits.

And also car companies are making cars that run on diesel and petrol...

There are many alternative sources but their commercial use is comparatively expensive.

E.g.-Sun, Tides, Wind,etc.

To use them commercially, we will have to build specific expensive buildings to harness them accordingly.
