•Emulsification Of Fats(Conversation of large globules of fats into smaller ones to increase the efficiency of enzyme action)
•Creating an alkaline medium for the food which enters the small intestine which is acidic at that moment.
=>The breathing cycle involves inhalation and exhalation of air. One inhalation and one exhalation makes one breathing cycle. When we breathe in the thoracic cavity expands and when we breathe out the thoracic cavity contracts. Thus breathing is a rhythmic process. But the gas inhaled reaches to each and every cell through blood. So the exchange of gases is a continuous process as it takes place between the blood and each and every cell, by diffusion.
