The foundation for all the New things in the present world was laid in the olden days and what we are getting at present is all updated one's of the old inventiona which form the base of the New ones so we need to value the old things much as these are the basics of learning New things

• This adage refers to the reliability of old objects. They have held up over time. It appears risk-free to continue to trust and use them. Old friends stick by you through thick and thin, but new pals may try to trick you. Old friends may disagree with us or distance themselves from us for a while, but they never really change. They continue to be dependable. Health issues could be caused by new items. We might not like new concepts.
• New trends could not be around for long. Only temporarily should new musical notes be enjoyable. However, outdated concepts, styles, and melodies never lose their appeal. In a same vein, ageing individuals cannot be dismissed as useless beings. They are knowledgeable and skilled.
• In life, one should cherish and heed their counsel. Everything has a foundation in the past. What is not good gets rejected by time. However, what remains is just as valuable as the past. We should therefore learn to appreciate the elderly. Its worth is enduring and eternal.
• As people age, they may become marginalised and excluded from society. However, the wisdom of the older generations is revered and honoured in a lot of civilizations today. because they consider experience to be the only source of life's wisdom. Hence the proverb "ancient is gold".
• Over time, many decorative items, works of art, paintings, etc. increase in artistic and monetary value. Paintings, sculptures, jewellery, furniture, tools, and other items from centuries past are prized as antiques.
